How to add a watermark to a PDF
- Select the PDF.
- Type your watermark text, then adjust size, colour, transparency, angle and placement. The preview updates as you go.
- Select Add watermark and download the stamped PDF.
About this tool
A watermark tells readers the status of a document, or marks it as yours before you share it. You can place one stamp in the middle of each page, or repeat it across the whole page.
Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and other scripts work too, because the text is drawn with the fonts already on your device.
Questions
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Choose Selected pages and enter the page numbers, for example 1, 3-5.
Can the watermark be removed later?
It's added on top of the page content, so it can't be removed by simply editing text. Someone with advanced PDF tools could still remove it, so don't treat it as security.
Does it support Hindi text?
Yes. Type the text in any language your device can display, and it appears in the PDF exactly as in the preview.
