How to merge PDF files
- Select or drop the PDF files you want to combine.
- Drag the files into the order you want. The file at the top comes first.
- Select Merge PDF, then download the combined file.
About this tool
Merging is useful when a report is split across several files, when scanned pages were saved one by one, or when a form and its attachments need to travel together. The merged PDF keeps each file's original page sizes, text and images.
All the work happens in your browser, using your device's memory, so even confidential files are never sent to a server. Very large files can take a few seconds on older phones.
Questions
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There's no fixed limit. The practical limit is your device's memory. Most computers handle a few hundred pages without trouble.
Will the merged PDF lose quality?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, without re-compressing images or turning text into pictures.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Remove the password from the file first, then merge it.
